Risks to directors

The reason why many businesses are run as companies is the protection of shareholders and directors from personal liability. This section outlines some (yes there are more than those listed!) of the potential risks to directors should they not act appropriately and demonstrates why they should take professional advice when their business is in financial difficulties.
